“ni’hikeyah tʼáá jííkʼe, all free nations, todas las naciones libres: migratory in verse” — a collaborative, community-rooted online anthology exploring the reciprocity of translation as migration, or migratory poetics. Through focusing on how migration often necessitates linguistic and cultural translation, translation itself plays a pivotal role in shaping the experiences and perceptions of migrants, past, present, and future.

Using the recollection of the Bush administration, twenty poets and artists from various diasporas explore its rhetoric, which redefined and reshaped the reality of those migrants and others defined by imagined borders.

Accompanied by contributor interviews, writing exercises, and more, this literary journey challenges violent narratives, reimagines democracy by inviting audiences to reconsider power, history, and human connection in a world shaped by conflict both on and off the page.
